  ok. here we go.

  (mild spoilers for the movie)

  this was... better than i was expecting it to be. like actually. sure, i have my own criticisms about vaani's character and the ending, and sure, it can personally be very jarring to see the words and phrases directly used against me be hurled at another trans person on screen. it's not perfect, and it's not that accurate to the experience of most desi trans individuals, but i think it'll appeal…
