This was my first movie back in theaters after 10 months and oh my gosh I missed that place so much. There’s something so comforting and exhilarating about the cushioned seats and the lights going down and the faint smell of popcorn that just means so much to me I dunno. I just really missed this place, and it was so very comforting and well needed.
In terms of the actual movie, it still holds up. This was the first time I saw it in theaters, and it’s just so beautiful on the big screen like it being shot on film and the cinematography and the acting and the ANGST! Just a spectacular film.
Also, I took my friend (who’s never seen it before) and she started crying so hello hello that’s a win in my book!
