Zack Heisey’s review published on Letterboxd:
A painful first half before it gets back to the good stuff. I think my problem was that it got so caught up in lore that it diluted the actual main story. If they just would’ve kept all that lore to the background and kept things in 1994, this would’ve been pretty solid. Instead, they give it a movie and a half. It’s like if Stephen King would’ve devoted 400 pages of IT to the Ironworks explosion and the Black Spot burning down.
