Another Pixar film on the smaller scale like a few of their more recent films. It's a sweet simple coming of age tale that's fairly ordinary outside of the sea monster stuff. Pixar are still on that boring realistic world rendering shit but that's nothing new. Very enjoyable overall.
Eli is, for the most part, a really dull and flaccid haunted house movie with bog standard "scares", and the typical "something isn't right" atmosphere. But if you stick with it for 70 minutes or so, you'll be in for one hell of a finale.
