zarathoestra’s review published on Letterboxd:
The story of Fred Hampton had become obscured by the actual attention from figures like Ali, Malcolm X, King. The black panther revolution probably had countless figures who served the cause for liberation. Fortunately, the film gets rid of the obstacles and hallelujah praises that are quite common in biopics. Filmed at a brisk pace, only the second part is somewhat directionless regarding the role of Stanfield 'Judas'. Much has not changed for the colored population and the role of Judas continues unabated.
