Man I really do have to think a lot about this one, left me in so much awe, I feel like a lot of the film’s world is explored wonderfully, albeit inconsistently in terms of how thorough and rich it feels. So much mystery and ambiguity that’s never entirely given away, and did I understand what was going on 100% of the time? No, but that’s not a bad thing is it, because the importance of the film lies in…

Jonathan Glazer has proven himself as a filmmaker capable of crafting immersive and palpable worlds, seemingly normal on the outside, but beneath there is something very dark lurking beneath. In Zone of Interest, the premise is quite simple, but allows for so much room for Glazer to explore the family's own personal conflicts in ways which somewhat intertwine with what's happening next door. So much of this film is just absorbing the scenery, there are scenes where a family will…

This is exactly the kind of thing general audiences should be supporting. Filmmakers who make shit that actually has something to say, and goes absolutely crazy doing it. The direction this film takes in the last 10 minutes is fucking CRAZY, enough to carry this whole movie alone.

Also heads up for the future, I will not be showing my ratings for new releases until my video review of said film is posted.

I wanted to love this but the 3rd act was so fucking bad I just don’t know. Disappointing? Maybe a little, but I still walked out with a lot, the film definitely gives you shit to think about. But yeah overall, fine

I really want as many of you as possible to read this, because this review is a tribute to an amazing person Eli Hayes, who has sadly passed away. This film as well as others have reflected his incredibly open personality. Watching them, reviewing them, and personally getting to know Eli as he commented on my reviews was a truly amazing experience, as I feel as if I got to know someone who I feel comfortable to call a friend.…

    CHARLIE KAUFMAN YOU ABSOLUTE GENUIS
a film so unsettling, so thought provoking, with powering literature and a sense of hidden romance. This is the kind of film I want to see. Not exactly your every day film. I literally cannot compare this to anything. My praise for the utilization for the concept of time knows absolutely no bound. And look, whatever rating this film gets isn’t exactly solidified or inherent, because this is a very challenging film. It’s final act…
