Listen, Stephen, I get it: you’re upset that Kubrick took your book and improved upon it by turning it into an overheated carnival of impulses- you’re still a great artist yourself but you have to understand this is just a better version. Still love your shit tho

There may be objectively worse-made movies in existence, but this is the worst movie I’ve ever seen. Dialogue and performances that are so bafflingly lazy & take place in a weird sort of un-reality, this universe claims that a 51-year old Jon Bon Jovi, JON BON JOVI, is the “hottest pop star” on the planet. Jon Bon fucking Jovi playing a singer simply called ‘Jensen’ is the hottest.pop.star.

    On the planet.

Just as hilariously dumb as shit as most of the series, but Jason Momoa is legitimately great as the villain in this, playing off of Vin Diesel’s absurd need to take this so seriously with a welcome cartoonish slant. Too long, though, shave about 30 minutes off this and it would be much better

This is one of those absolutely ridiculous movies that, at 9 years old, I remember watching in the small hidden crevice at the top of the stairs while my parents assumed I was asleep, having already told me I was too young to view boobs, violence, and Mickey Rourke. It’s definitely not *good* in the classical sense that you’d judge a movie, but it’s a needed hit of nostalgia at the moment. Plus, the opening 10 minutes has a bad guy telling the good guy that he’s gonna “cut him long, hard, and deep” which, what in the fuck

Crime Scene: The Vanishing at the Cecil Hotel

Entirely sensationalist, ridiculously irresponsible documentary that shows the shitty, infectious nature of YouTube “sleuths” and the fact that they can just operate on speculation unchecked, and spread insanity easily. People wonder how conspiracy theories proliferate so easily; look no fucking further
