Zach’s review published on Letterboxd:
This is a movie filled with things I hate: I hate racism, I hate anti-police rhetoric, I hate FBI corruption, I hate Black Panther tactics, I hate authoritarianism, I hate communism...yet I really enjoyed this film. No small part of that is Daniel Kaluuya’s amazing performance. He commands your attention whenever he’s on screen and is truly transformative in the role. Only problem is that the film seems to drag whenever he’s offscreen, which unfortunately is more than I’d like. Thankfully the direction is strong, as is the performances from the rest of the cast. It’s more like a 3.75, but I have to knock it down a bit for some pacing lags and script anomalies. Still, it’s a strong film that will have you saying “I am...a revolutionary” long after it’s over.
