As Above, So Below 2014
I don’t really know much about this other than I’ve seen three of the director’s other films and hated them all. But As Above So Below is thoroughly entertaining from start to finish. Goofy, ridiculous and fun as hell. I think this movie has a good sense of humor about itself, but it also might just be consistently, inadvertently funny, though the truth probably lies more with it being both. Dowdle also manages some nice images and builds some good tension when needed.

Watched Pacifiction earlier and this actually pairs quite well with it.

Vig Mihaly's score and the use of natural sound could not be better. Story is perfect. Images haunting. Every performance necessary and complete.
