    "Is your war finally over?"

I loved seeing that Toho logo on an IMAX screen. I was hoping for a Shin Godzilla sequel, but I am thrilled to get Godzilla any way I can, regardless, except for that anime trilogy nonsense. I was not expecting this to hit as hard as it did. Was the ending a bit emotionally manipulative? Yeah, it was. Did it totally wreck me? Absolutely. To say that the MCU is saved is premature; I mean, Marvels is next, and that trailer didn't excite me one bit. And this is James Gunn's final entry into this universe. And he is this movie's saving grace. The way he is able to make a complete and exciting package with stakes, drama, humor, and, most importantly, heart gives his work a wonderful touch. I trust Gunn with whatever project he…
