Rian Johnson is back at it with another mind-blowing mystery.
I dunno how he does it, man. His writing is simply genius and always keeps me at the edge of my seat. Daniel Craig continues a spectacular performance as the hilarious and compelling detective Benoit Blanc. The rest of the cast is amazing as well, especially Edward Norton and Janelle Monáe.
The cinematography is stunning once again. Rian’s movies are always so pleasant to look at with an active camera that elevates each scene. Steve Yedlin knows how it’s done! The score is also beautiful, well composed by Nathan Johnson.
It’s a real shame that this film is only screening in select theaters for a single week because it deserves to be seen on the big screen. I strongly recommend it if you have the opportunity! Otherwise, you will still have a blast when it launches on Netflix.
