• Squid Game

    Squid Game

The Ron Says:  Loved the concept and characters.  Episodes without a game were a bit of a drag, and the ending could have been better, but overall I really enjoyed watching it with my oldest son.

    The Rel Says:  5 stars.

  • Slither

The Ron Says:  re-watched so my oldest son could see it.

    The Rel Says:  4.5 stars.

  • Quo vadis, Aida?

    Quo vadis, Aida?

The Ron Says:  One of those tough to watch films that I never wanna see again.  It’s more of a learning experience than anything else.

  • Malignant

The Ron Says:  I’m giving Malignant a rare 2.5 stars with a like.  The plot is too campy and preposterous for my tastes, but the final act was very entertaining.

The Rel Says:  3.5 stars.  “This is awesome” (during jail scene).

  • Nobody

The Ron Says:  Interesting role for Bob Odenkirk (I’m a fan), and he’s surprisingly (maybe not surprising) good in this straight up action film.  That said, like many action films, the setup isn’t great, and it doesn’t bring anything new to the table.  I’d say it’s worth watching once.

  • Love and Monsters

    Love and Monsters

The Ron Says:  Decent lighthearted entertainment, nothing more nothing less.

  • Freaky

The Ron Says:  We’ve seen this whole body swap storyline before so Freaky isn’t very original, but it was an enjoyable 1h 42m.

The Rel Says:  4.5 stars.  He’s 10 and easily entertained 😂.

  • The Suicide Squad

    The Suicide Squad

The Ron Says:  What a fun fucking film!  Dare I say, The Suicide Squad is The Evil Dead II of comic book films!

The Rel Says: “That was freaking awesome!*. 5 stars!

  • Luca

The Ron Says:  I’d say Luca is slightly above middle of the pack Pixar fair.  It’s enjoyable, but not great or anything.

  • A Quiet Place Part II

    A Quiet Place Part II

The Ron Says:  I still prefer the first film, but A Quiet Place Part II continues the story nicely and paves the way for it to be a franchise.

The Rel (My 10 year old son) Says:  5 stars!

  • Shiva Baby

    Shiva Baby

The Ron Says:  Emma Seligman’s Shiva Baby is painfully awkward and at times extremely cringe, but it that entertaining kinda way.

  • Blade

The Ron Says:  Re-watch for the purposes of introducing it to my oldest son.  I didn’t like it as much as I did back in the late 90s, but it’s still a fun film.

The Rel (My 10 year old son) “Give it all the stars!”  “5 stars!”
