I've been dying to watch Twin Peaks: The Return.  I'd never seen the original 2 seasons or the film Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me.  I finished both today.  The show had its ups and downs.  I liked it overall, but it felt dated, some of the acting bugged me, and I felt the quality of the episodes was very inconsistent.  

The film is a different story.  I just wasn't feeling it.    It didn't compliment the show as well as it could have, and Lynch's trademark strangeness was a little too forced in my opinion.

The good news is I can finally start The Return.  I'm really hoping I like it more than it's predecessors.
