The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies

The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies ★★½

Peter Jackson was sitting on the director's chair. He's exhausted, sweating, eyes half closing. After all the negative comments about The Desolation of Smaug, he no longer possess the confidence he used to have. While smoking a pipe, he looked at Ian Mckellen, who was absent-mindedly waving his wand. Christopher Lee was reading a book. Martin Freeman was rehearsing his lines. There are dozens of spotlights around him yet there's a gloomy mood in the air.

"Maybe returning to Middle Earth was a bad idea after all." he whispered to himself. He thought about An Unexpected Journey and how it was relatively well-received, then let out a long sigh. Who would've expected things to turn out like this?

From the other side of the room, someone called for him. Peter stretched his arms and slowly stood up.

"I've had enough. Let's just get this over with so I can go home."
