It’s films like this that make me want to try and avoid trailers, most of the good is in the trailer including any moment that might make you jump sadly. 

This is a slow burner but it was very watchable - a film that basically feels like it’s been built around the fact that Blumhouse managed to secure an actress as good as Octavia Spencer. 

Still worth a watch but isn’t the scare of the year or anything.
