Gareth Bailey’s review published on Letterboxd:
I went in to watch this with very little knowledge but with an open mind and wasn't disappointed. I don't think I'd rave about it likes others do but it's not a bad concept from Ridley Scott. It's a shame that you don't get more of Ford's character through, and by that I mean I don't really see character development in Rick Deckard or really know his motivations.
Between stints of blade running what did he do?
I do like the blending of sci-fi and film noir, it does make for some beautiful visuals. I don't know that the film really hooks you in though to make you care about the characters or the potential for their demise.
