54% of my vibe goes to cinema
i enjoyed it, it is hella FUN the meanings and the issues that’s tackled in the movie is relatable. the biggest problem is that it kept dropping in quality after the first hour, but it kept me interested nonetheless.
its like edgar & lynch made something in between the lines of mulholland drive
so where do we start, first lemme say that this is my first time going to a cinema in saudi, it happened to be a saudi film, kinda experience.
anyway, i loved most of the film starting with the fact that it is SO relatable as a saudi, u could understand almost every reference for jokes and public figures, alongside with the atmosphere for that era.
the biggest con imo is the acting performances, most of the cast they gave…
this is not your regular type of film. this movie is unreal, it handles the most important elements in life: death, time and living your life. it was such a depressing experience, i cant find any other movie that made me so depressed as much as this one. Charlie Kaufman is amazing as usual, i prefer him as a writer more tho, but of course not bad as a directing debut.
