Jesus a morphine dealer aye...π¦΅π§΅β
Shrew's Nest revolves around Monte whose agoraphobia keeps her secluded in her apartment until a young man is injured in a stairwell and crawls to her door.
This is a movie about past trauma built through years of childhood abuse affecting the mental health of a person to an extent that she becomes overly protective of the people she cares about but has also turned into the evil she once hated.
It's a decently paced plot but takes a lot of time in developing characters for the sake of slow burn, with almost little to nothing happening in the first hour. But boy does it picks up like a rampaging beast in the final 30mins, delivering with all you can ask for in a horror flick and justifying its slow build-up to a certain extent.
Overall it's a great horror flick that has a great story with a reveal that Jesus is a dealer. π€£
