If you are able to look past the historical inaccuracies that make the Dahomey appear a lot more virtuous than they actually were, then you may find that this is not a bad action movie.
There was a lot of great action sequences, with some pretty badass fighting (including a knife attached to a rope). Lashana Lynch's character was probably my favourite, I enjoyed watching her kill her enemies by stabbing them with her fingernails! The movie did feel a little long, and I lost my interest towards the end. It did also suffer a bit with one dimensional characters. But over-all, not bad if you are looking for a brutal action thriller.
