Dumb Money 2023
I must have been living under a rock these last few years because I never knew about all this stuff that happened. I found it to be a pretty interesting story, despite me not knowing anything about stocks, and money and Wall Street and all that economic/business rubbish. I found Paul Dano to be very likable playing Keith Gill, America Ferrerra was also very likable as expected. Everyone else was hella annoying, bloody hell

Damn bureaucracy! It's a really beautiful looking and well shot short film with some pretty depressing subject matter. That final line was really nice... not super practical though

Nice to see something from Greenland, the scenery looked really beautiful. Unfortunately that's the only thing I really liked about this. The story was just bleak through and through and didn't seem to have any direction. It was also weird how the big reveal was presented as such a big reveal, when surely the main character knew everything that was going on the whole time.

The Pale Blue Eye 2022
Beautiful bleak setting, well shot, reasonably well acted, story was fairly interesting, but just found it hard to really get into. It's not bad at all, but it's not amazing- it's a very 3 star kind of movie.
