when i was eight my mom brother & i gathered around the tv to count how many times the buttons changed on srks blazer during deewangi deewangi

i haven't watched this yet but both of these actors were eye awakening for me amatorily so i'm just really happy this exists

this movie means so much more when you're not six and don't rely on subtitles anymore  this is literally the best thing i have ever seen

everyone's criticizing this movie bc it's cliche but that's exactly what we need!!!!! more cliche cringy movies but queer. it didn't shy away from uncomfortable moments and truths that come with being queer, being desi, and queerness in desi culture. it may not be the best movie ever but it achieved what it was designed to do, and created a good foundation for queer bollywood movies which may follow. and also i cried so so much there's like tears in my eyes as i type not even joking
