wounded kite’s review published on Letterboxd:
An incredibly sweet two-hander (well, three if you count the cow) that masterfully shifts into a small-scale thriller. None of the allegory here is heavy-handed, as Reichardt can pack a tremendous amount of meaning into the smallest moments. She’s a low-key auteur, with films that are at once patient, breezy, and tightly crafted. This is a great intro to her work, and easily the best thing I’ve watched in 2020 so far.
