Nothing really..
Movie is such a big classic and deep in popularculture nowadays that pretty much everybody knows it.
They don't make these kinds of movies so much anymore.
Meaning that telling of the story takes time, cinematography doesn't jump around everywhere, scoremusic complements movie beautifully, acting and directing is amazing all around.
Flick was made at the time when it was hard to get this kind of movie done.
Coppola was young director, studio was against pretty much every choice that Coppola tried to make..especially casting.
But look what became after getting through those obstacles..a crimemovie classic.
Truly a film for what cinema was made for.
