I’ve watched way too many episodes of Alone to know that if he somehow survived after that bear attack, he would have died 1000 other ways after being left on his own.
I was hooked for the first half but it was just way to slow to with not enough dialogue keep me fully connected to it.
I can’t quite get on the Everything Everywhere All At Once bandwagon unfortunately. I totally understand why so many people loved this film. It definitily had some great (and obvious/easily understood) themes and also had a really good soundtrack and well-placed music throughout.
BUT
I couldn’t stop thinking about how this movie was giving me major The Lego Movie (2014) vibes and also slight Matrix vibes. The whole verse switching thing got confusing especially when they were triggered by completely random…

There was not a single second of this movie that I didn’t thouroughly love. If this is still on your watch list, please prioritize it.
Was a beautiful movie. Tons of imagery and symbolism that will probably take me a couple of watches to piece altogether. If Midsommar (2019) and Narnia (2005) had a child, this movie would be it. In a good way.
