Solid in just about all aspects. Good story and pacing, some properly cheesy ’80s style effects, odd, rural Irish setting, bad child acting, some good gore. I love Rawhead as a vicious monster in a fairly cheap looking costume. I even loved that they tried to portray a stereotypical American family ("Will there be a McDonald's in Dublin?") and that the actors kept slipping into their Irish accents. Real fun way to spend a Friday evening.
