This is one of my favorite childhood movies and I believe it's still a great watch. It's a solid comedy horror creature feature. The plot follows arachnophobe Dr. Ross Jennings who has just moved into a new home in a small rural California town with his wife, Molly, and young son. As town residents start turning up dead, Jennings begins to suspect spiders, and must face his fears as he and no-nonsense exterminator Delbert McClintock fight to stop a deadly infestation. Jeff Daniels is very good as Dr. Jennings, but John Goodman stole every scene he was in as Delbert. One of his funniest characters in my opinion. Overall a very good movie.
