Will Remmers’s review published on Letterboxd:
Napoléon shouting "Deacon!" in French to the empty parking lot outside the bowling alley. Deacon's bedroom has great production design and the twins that follow him around even to baseball practice is a funny touch. I've seen this movie 998908 times but I still find new things to discover, this time, mostly about Deacon.
This film has excellent montages with a gag every 7 or 8 seconds. The "Play with Me" montage in the mall is still my favorite and this time I cried. Beethoven is just so happy, they are all having such a fun time at the mall and you really believe that and understand why they love San Dimas. This movie is so short and efficient! Bill and Ted are in the car with Missy and Napoléon heading to the mall to get the other historical people but they've already been arrested but we never need to see them find out, just the next scene they're already on their way to the police station. Station!
Michael Anthony's face sticking out constantly on Keanu's sternum is the most face time he has ever had.
Catch ya later, Bill & Ted!
