Megan: an artificially intelligent android who looks like an Adele wannabe, as if she were a doll.
When I initially saw the trailer for M3GAN, I thought that it was going to be one of those garbage movies that can be the definition of a bad January movie. However, I was pleasantly surprised at how good it was after I rented it off of Amazon Prime. I couldn't believe it. M3GAN succeeds in its goal of giving the viewer a solid reflection on how technology can skew the role of a parent. While it may leave viewers a bit unsatisfied, including myself, it is still a tightly written and self-aware film with good performances, a surprising amount of laughs, and a fun villain. Even Adele would be terrified by her midget-like evil twin if she were to make a cameo in the upcoming sequel.
