I haven't seen this in a very long time but I remember it being better. It's got nothing on Raiders of the Lost Ark. Raiders had a really unique feel to it. It was one of the first great adventure films that were really cool (mainly because of our lord and saviour Harrison Ford) and bursting with fun. Even though I think Raiders is far superior, I think this one had better stunts. Like the iconic bridge scene, that was great and the opening sequence where they jump out of a plane in a life raft and somehow end up in India. That shit's bonkers.
I was planning on giving this a 3.5 but the one sequence that makes the watch worthwhile and somewhat redeems the film is the rail cart sequence. That was done so incredibly well for the little amount of technology they had at the time.
