Not a retread of Jackie whatsoever, and this feels so in tune with what it's trying to do; a tightrope walk between high camp and high art. The blistering paranoia of a woman is executed so well that you practically feel as if she's already dead. Totally unnuanced but just about everything here clicks for me. A mother takes her two kids to a KFC and it made me cry - not many other movies can pull off such a feat. Eager to revisit this one.
