an epic rivalry of crime like no other, city of god is brutally upfront and dangerous with its realism, yet also portrays the world of drugs and guns as if it were a poisonous art museum. while i think it dragged a little within the middle, some scenes are definitely standing out as some of the best and most impactful ever made.
