“Politics is war without bloodshed while war is politics with bloodshed”
Judas and the Black messiah captures the fight for a true revolution at the end of the 1960s. Shaka King portrays such raw emotion, resilience, and energy out of Fred Hampton and Bill O’Neal. Many characters in this are grounded in contrasting beliefs and perspectives providing for rich character analyses.
Lakeith Stanfield and Daniel Kaluuya were absolutely fantastic.
Such a important story in Black history.
