As with the best of Villeneuve, rewatching only further highlights his strengths as a filmmaker. The breathtaking moments remain as such, but Villeneuve's knack for subtle set ups and payoffs shines even more.
He is working with some incredible source material, but it cannot be understated how much he brings to this story. If you feel safe doing so, see this on the biggest screen you can with the best sound system available.
