  • Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade

Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade

Best Indiana Jones film by far, albeit some problems.
-0.5 stars for Sean Connery's acting after thinking his son died.
-0.5 stars for the final third of the film. Kinda weak payoff.
    -0.5 stars for Nazis.

  • Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom

Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom

    Boring and deeply insensitive...like wow

  • Raiders of the Lost Ark

    Raiders of the Lost Ark

My local theater was playing old classics, so I thought I'd finally give into the Indiana Jones franchise.

I have to say I was just constantly disinterested. I felt the plot was seemingly half-assed. I get the covenant is a biblical story - but as someone who knows and doesn't care to know much about religion, I feel it wasn't explained enough. Yeah, bad intentions = bad endgame, but the whole setup to me seemed flawed.

    I constantly felt uneasy…

  • Cruella

A solid entry to the Disney live-action list.
The story of Cruella De Vil is iconic - and the prequel to this storyline was nothing short of immersive.
The costumes, makeup, and production design took you into the 70s punk London scene - it was incredible.
If this doesn’t win Best Costume Design at the Oscars, I don’t know what could.
I have a few issues with the film - first, I didn’t like how the film didn’t go all…

  • A Quiet Place Part II

    A Quiet Place Part II

Possibly better than the first? I was on the edge of my seat the entire time. I loved the three-prong story structure and the journey to the island was thrilling. I just wish it was a bit longer...I literally shouted "THAT'S IT!?" at the end. Krasinski is the director to watch out for, damn.

  • Run

Unexpected, great thriller especially only really using two locations. Paulson and Allen give awesome performances and I'm glad they casted an actress with a disability.

It could've cut out the last scene - I really didn't need to see Sarah Paulson looking like the grandma in the wheelchair from Spongebob.

  • Down

stream down by st. vincent instead

  • Those Who Wish Me Dead

    Those Who Wish Me Dead

A wonderful reminder of how Angelina Jolie came to be such a renowned action star.

  • The Falcon and the Winter Soldier

The Falcon and the Winter Soldier

The shot of the shield with blood splattered on it at the end of Episode 4...perfect representation of America *chefs kiss*

  • Miss Sloane

    Miss Sloane

There's nothing I want more than for Jessica Chastain to call me a rat

  • The Martian

    The Martian

The funniest musical or comedy I've ever seen

  • The Master

    The Master

I too would fart in Rami Malek’s face
