I think why I love this film so much and even better than the terrific first part is because you see a bloody revenge story turn into a twisted noir love story.

This is fucking cinema.

Most of the time there isn't a reason for remakes or sequels, but man - when you actually add relevant and thought provoking characters to the mix, it's a recipe for perfection. And what Pixar did with Barbie and Ken and Lottso's gang is incredible. Characters that actually mean something and belong in the story for *the* story and not for show is incredible. The story, the heart, and the way you feel for these *inanimate* characters is just how genius the film is.

I would like to be Portman's character in real life trying to get in the mind of Darren Aronofsky's genius. I mean, wow. Portman gives the best performance of her career. Nothing short of a perfect, thrilling, horror film.

Gerwig's directorial debut is nothing short of fantastic. And with Ronan and Metcalf's duo performance, I think every parent and child see theirselves in both of them.

It's nothing short of a fantastic achievement by Bong Joon Ho, who creates the charming yet heartbreaking story of the cruel reality of classism across the globe.

When a fantastic script comes along, everything fits into place. It's the heart of the screenplay that brings the spectacular performances by Johansson and Driver, and with its state-of-the-art editing, it creates a film of a generation.
