I'm sorry this just is not a good movie!
I used to believe Tom Holland was the "best" Spider-Man but wow did this movie really change that perception.
I think the bottom line is that Holland is not a good actor. During arguably the most pivotal scene in the movie, Holland ruins it with his child-like acting mannerisms. When people died in Maguire and Garfield's films, you felt it because those actors SOLD the scenes. Holland does not.
Obviously the film has a ton of fan service, and while the ideas are phenomenal, they are poorly executed. Many of the jokes do not land and the action is inferior to the previous installments.
Also, Ned has way too much screen time.
