Damn if I didn't love the heck out of this shit. This is as good as the first! It improves on the lore of one Fred Kreuger, and makes his whole deal a lot more insane and fucked up. I love how his victims begin to turn tables, the whole dream warriors thing is insanely cool and we even get a rocking theme song. More horror movies need rocking theme songs!
"I'm not going to listen to any more of this. How much longer are you going to go on blaming your dreams for your own weaknesses?"
"How much longer are you gonna keep blowing smoke up our ass?"
The music is by longtime David Lynch collaborator Angelo Badalamenti, so you know that shit is fire. Heather Langenkamp is not very good at all, unfortunately. However, I do understand her initial dread of returning to something horrible. I love that. But otherwise she's not very good.
"In my dreams, I'm beautiful... and bad."
Dick Cavett and Zsa Zsa Gabor are fantastic in their brief real life roles, what fun that must have been to film. This is a fun movie and I recommend it to all of my friends
