Vindahl’s review published on Letterboxd:
It was an almost magical experience watching this - a brutal saga about vengeance and fate. Even though this type of alternative and almost poetic storytelling is rare to find in big productions like this, I enjoyed it more and more during the movie, and I got lost in the mysticism.
The production value was very high, and I was captivated by the honest brutality of their living and dying. Beautifully filmed, amazing music and a strong cast.
It could become a little artistic and weird at times, but I think there was a certain balance to it, that made me tolerate it most of the time. A tough watch however, that did not hold back on many atrocities.
