Last Night in Soho 2021
When I started making films, like many young filmmakers, I wanted to be Edgar Wright. I had moulded my films around his style as I searched for my own. For a decent chunk of my filmmaking journey, he was my favourite director. This is why I'm so incredibly disappointed with Last Night in Soho.
I will say the performances are great and the technical elements, save for some editing moments, are all top-notch. Some of the effects are wonky but…
