  Probably had way high expectations on this. Beautiful weird and stunning but not the most solid story. Needs a rewatch to fully understand. Princess Mononoke, Nausica and spirited away is still my favs. Unfortunately, the boy and the Heron is not in the same league.

  Surprisingly good! Such a beautiful story, true feel good and good acting. It’s a bit predictable but otherwise a great love story!

  This movie: Never let them expect your next move.

  Not during a single moment I knew what turn this film was going to take. Great camera work and buildups which made some scenes really scary. It’s fascinating that the film is way more scary when you don’t know what the threat is.

  Wow. This exceeded way past my expectations and I had a great time watching this. Great acting, great vfx and mask design, beautifully shot and edited with matching cutscenes. Perfect mix of cheesy horror flick characters, humor and gore. 

  This is by far one of the best Swedish horror films and I would definitely recommend any horror film fanatic to watch!
