a pretty good Mann crime film with some truly brutal violence in a beautiful, unnerving way. Tom Cruise is absolutely incredible as a ruthless, terminator-like villain, jamie foxx a perfect hapless everyman caught into this world of high stakes crime.

Quite frankly I find the whole "Disney superfan" schtick to be at best fascinating and at worse extremely grating, so I probably wouldn't have watched this at all if it wasn't on Defunctland, which is, I think, one of perhaps three Theme Park Youtube Channels that I can stand. And the good news is that Defunctland is probably far and away the best in terms of historical contextualization and writing, so that's important as well.
