Exceptional work all around. From Greenwood's jazzy sparse score to Kristin's lovely spellbinding performance, not one element underwhelmed me. The set design, cinematography... it all compliments each other perfectly.
There's moments of art house horror influences strung throughout which made this cozy biopic all the more mesmerizing to me.
I can't get over it. Love it.
I wish I could elegantly elaborate my thoughts about the film but something about it just resonates with me deeply. Not that I’ve any experience with being part of a royal family or necessarily been the “outcast”, but Diana’s internal & external struggle in the film in regards to being controlled and dealing with the perception of her peers/the public felt so moving to me.
When the end scene hits, it’s all the more rewarding.
