remember the boat scene in willy wonka and the chocolate factory? imagine that nightmarish, candy coated dream extended to the length of a feature film and you have the bizarre treasure that is house. thereβs a nostalgic quality to the production of this film that reminds me of goosebumps, scooby doo, nancy drew, all the wonderful mysterious horrors of our generations youth. this movie is as sweet as it is sour. itβs a joy to consume.
