Valdimar Hauksson’s review published on Letterboxd:
This may be a Charlie Chaplin film, but the real star of the film is Jackie Coogan who gives a fantastic performance as the young boy. The scene where the boy is taken away from The Tramp is one of the most heart-wrenching scenes in the history of cinema.
This film is a joy to watch, but I still prefer The Gold Rush and Modern Times.
