Letterboxd — Your life in film

I had forgotten how much I love this diminutive masterpiece..

The last 30 mins saved this film from being the Worst from Pixar..

Without even knowing the plot for God Of War: Ragnarok, I am 100% sure its going to be far more consistent and well driven than Love and Thunder..

They made a mess of everything…Gorr, Thor, Jane all seemed mediocre and this film doesn’t hold any value to the general plotline of where MCU is heading..

I am liking these rebuild spin off films way more than the TV series..

I probably would’ve liked this entire series more if the characters weren’t 1 dimensional weirdos, Misato being an exception. 

The lore and philosophy behind this series is very intriguing tho

This is probably the only anime I’ve watched where I preferred the dub version more than the sub..

Perhaps it has to do with the European Medieval setting…great voice acting by the cast as well imo..

A simplistic and empathetic story of human emotions and trauma, learning how to deal with them and expressing them in a healthy way showcased by an experienced film director and a curious child.

Fans of Nebraska (2013) and Paterson (2016) would love this film.

Watched in 3D, noticed how there is far less action sequences as compared to some other MCU films..

Still the experience wasn’t mellowed down in any way..

Great Acting Performances, Slow yet intriguingly paced, brilliant score and a subtle yet remarkable plot twist in the end.

Overall, a Great Western..

PS - The reason why Kirsten Dunst wasn’t reprising her role as MJ in No Way Home cause she didn’t want anything to do with or be anywhere near Doctor Phil, sorry, Doctor Strange..

Don’t be confused by my rating this is easily the worst film from the 4 Matrix films as its solely made for money and heavily glorifies past events, sequences, characters cause there is nothing left in The Matrix to talk about..

Hoped for an outcome like BR2049 but should’ve judged from the trailer itself on how pathetic this film was going to be..
