bought the 4K Blu-Ray of this ages ago and only just got around to finally watching it. definitely glad i left twitter because now that i’ve seen this film i can say the hate circlejerk for it on there is so dumb. would very much like to see any of the terminally online babies dunking on this for simply existing try their hand at making something on the same level…yep, didn’t think so! won’t deny this is needlessly bloated, but also incomprehensibly, exceptionally weird in a way i really loved most of the time. is it a mess? yeah, totally. but an awe-inspiring, beautiful, creative, emotional, hilarious, and truly original mess. can’t imagine not watching this with family (and i need a Raccacoonie spinoff)
