Anderson's fascinating fim of essentially the mind vs the body. It was brillaint to use Scientology as a backdrop since one of their major beliefs is that we are not animals, and Hoffman's insistance on taming the wild Phoenix is something a lot of us folk try and do all the time. A thought provoking and beautiful work.
