Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 is everything I wanted it to be and more. The most emotion I’ve felt in the MCU while simultaneously being the funniest MCU movie by a mile.
James Gunn is not only back with another banger soundtrack but his most impressive director work yet. The cinematography and editing was great, the fight scenes were incredible, the character designs were awesome, and I never felt a single minute of this 2 hour 30 minute runtime.
There was a thing or two I would’ve done differently to really cement this as a 5 star, but after ruminating on it on the long drive home, this is a 5 star movie and my second favorite MCU movie of all time.
DC, you have such a bright future ahead of you with Mr. Gunn.
