Martin Scorsese’s filmmaking is aging like fine wine. He seems to have tackled every genre possible, except for the epic westerns, which we now have with Killers of the Flower Moon (2023). A monumental achievement in cinema for Scorsese. With his biggest budget ever, he uses every penny in that to create this grand, crime-filled movie, much like his prior ones, but this time set in 1920s Oklahoma.

The story is so exciting and compelling that it’s not hard to…

“You’re the man who gave them the power to destroy themselves, and the world is not prepared.”

In what was my most anticipated movie ever, Oppenheimer (2023) defied all expectations. It is hard to put into words the greatness I witnessed in the past three hours.

Oppenheimer is perfect in every way imaginable. From the acting performances with Cillian Murphy, who should now be propelled into leading acting roles from here on out. To Robert Downey Jr. who honestly blew me…

    "I'm A Star. I'm A Big, Bright, Shining Star."

Tonight was Boogie Nights (1997) in the grand 70MM print.

It's Paul Thomas Anderson's sophomore film and from the direction, he looked like he was a veteran, but no, he was just a kid who never went to film school and gave us a tremendously made, cinematic film. It's such a bold movie but it's so iconic. A touchy subject but he pulls it off so well. I see hints of…

"This isn't flying, this is falling with style!"

Had to revisit one of the most nostalgic movies I have ever seen. Toy Story (1995) is the best film from the franchise and in my opinion it's the best animated movie of all time.

Toy Story was the first animated movie I really remember falling in love with. With a short runtime of 81 minutes, every scene in this movie is so meaningful and special. From the beginning where Woody is…

"I don't want you to get drunk but that's a very fine Chardonnay you're not drinking."

    It's the perfect movie.
Patrick Bateman is one of the greatest characters to grace the screen.
    So flawed but so complete.
    Christian Bale's Magnum Opus.
    So many brilliant quotes.
    So many iconic scenes.
    What's real and what's not?
So many questions still left to be answered.
One of the greatest pieces of cinema to ever be created.
