Today: Love, Death & Robots: In Vaulted Halls Entombed
Hi everybody, that escalated quickly… . This is the most unsettling episode of volume 3. But more essentially: what exactly is waiting for us in season 4…?
Love, Death & Robots' concept is fantastic, it's not for nothing that we got two similar series last year. While Marvel, unfortunately, once again acts very predictably and as risk-free as possible and doesn't even consider it necessary to present different styles with the premise of the multiverse in What If…, Star Wars: Visions was already similarly creative as LDR. Within the Star Wars universe, it was even really daring. In general, however, unfortunately relatively little, because no episode can survive e.g. without lightsabers and the Force. Star Wars can do so much more and is particularly exciting when it comes to dirty, gloomy cyberpunk locations. In LDR: In Vaulted Halls Entombed we're confronted with a seemingly normal setting until little spiders with faces as in Alien consume the flesh of living people so fast that there's nothing left but bones in a matter of seconds… after the pained screams. But what are they hiding, or protecting…?
Season 3 was again entertaining, bloody, with less sex but more comical influences. A fine addition to the series!
